LongBox Digital (LBX) FINALLY released

LBX
After years of sporadic press releases Eisner & Harvey award winning artist Rantz Hoseley and Quicksilver Software unleash LongBox Digital. This free application based platform for purchasing and reading comic books promises to fix many problems associated with Digital Comics. LBX is a local client meaning you can download comics and read them offline, and it is intended to work across several unannounced platforms like smart phones, video game consoles, and Apple devices.

The prices start at 99¢ and the full list of contributing publishers are not yet known. The big question is: How will this compare to the already well establish platforms like iverse and Comixology, and are new users willing to give it a chance?
