In a shocking…well… unexpected… well.. let’s say odd move for Gear Box software, Duke Nukem forever’s date was changed from May 3rd U.S. and May 6th international to June 10th international, and June 14th U.S. Granted it’s only a slight delay and I can imagine the sweat and tears at the office when whatever reason came down to push back the release hit. However game fans have no fear, we’re still getting our Duke, and to help the sting a bit Gear Box did release a video apologizing, and even showed the staff “hard at work” which honestly is more than we ever got from 3D Realms who just seemed to “work on it tirelessly” and never was able to get it done. Still, seeing the delay broke my heart but pleased my wallet, there are a few other titles close to that launch I was looking forward to so maybe I can work this out for the better.
