Yesterday evening at San Diego Comic Con, Neil Gaiman confirmed that he will be writing a prequel to the Sandman series. Aiming to release next year with Vertigo (his partners in crime on the previous series). The series will be based on Morpheus aka Dream, who is the main theme of the original. The art for the new release will be drawn by J.H. Williams III who has is known for his work on: Chase, Promethea, Batwoman and, Desolation Jones.
