FX has released the first five minutes of this Wednesday’s season premiere, and it’s safe to say that while creator Ryan Murphy claims viewers will be getting a fresh start, the show’s themes of sexual deviance and Mark Romanek-y visuals remain solidly in place. Jessica Lange and several season one alums return as brand new characters and will be joined by guest stars like Chloe Sevigny and the just announced Ian McShane. The show was always more style than substance for me, but I will probably continue to tune in if only to shout “you can do that on TV now?!!?” every Wednesday.
The clip introduces us to what is preumably the present day asylum via the honeymoon cavorting of Adam Levine and Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
