Disney Fantasy Faire

This week marks the opening of the new Fantasy Faire at Disneyland Park, and it just so happens I’ll be making my first trip to Disneyland at the end of this month.  No doubt Fantasy Faire will be one of my first stops.

I can’t make a trip to Walt Disney World without taking tons of pictures with the characters, and I’m sure my west coast visit will be no different.

One of the new additions is the Royal Hall, where “guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”  As many as three Disney Princesses will be available to meet and pose for pictures.  I imagine this will be very similar to the Theater on Main Street in Walt Disney World, where guests can easily stalk meet Mickey and several Disney Princesses.

And Rapunzel will likely be found near a replica of her tower at the center of the Faire.  But beware her frying pan!

In addition to new settings for the princesses, the Royal Theatre will stage two new shows, starring Belle and Rapunzel, and Belle should be debuting her new look this week.

With Fantasy Faire and Disneyland and the new expanded Fantasyland at Disney World, fairy tales come to life more than ever before at the Disney Parks.

What’s really amusing is engaging in a conversation with one of the princesses . . . I’ll never forget trying to explain to Belle what an iphone is.  Best I could compare it to was her magic mirror.  You would think someone who reads as much as she does would stay up to date with modern technology.
