This film looks a lot darker, based on this trailer, than I was guessing it would be, based on the cast. Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Andrew Dice Clay, and Louis C.K, that sounds very comedic, and this looks more on the Cassandra’s Dream/Match Point side of Woody Allen’s recent works. That’s not exactly a bad thing at all, it’s just unexpected. And Woody Allen, when he’s surprising, is usually at his best.
Did anyone else giggle when they matched the cut of Louis C.K. to the word loser?
