GIVEAWAY: Back to Back to the Future Digital Comics

We are pleased to announce that we have the opportunity to give 5 lucky readers a complete digital set of the upcoming comic Back to Back to the Future written by David Guy Levy.

In case some people were unaware, Michael J. Fox was not the original Marty McFly in Back to the Future — Eric Stoltz was. Melora Hardin (Jan Levenson, The Office) who was originally cast as Marty’s girlfriend, found that she too was out of the film due to the fact that she was a few inches taller than Michael, and was thus deemed too tall to play the role.

Levy’s tale in Back to Back to the Future explores the possibilities of what might have happened if the creators of the trilogy were given the chance to go back in time and change the timeline by ensuring that Eric Stoltz held on to the role. The first three issues of the series will be available as a free download, with the final being sold for $2 each. And having had a chance to check out the first issue, I can tell you it’s an intriguing idea, and I’m excited to see what happens next.

Most importantly, however, is the fact that Levy will be donating all the proceeds from this 6 issue series to The Young Storytellers foundation, a non profit that works with at risk youth to introduce them to the arts, help them stay focused on getting through school and into college, and ensure that they are given the same chance to succeed as their peers. Please be sure to check out The Young Storytellers website for more information.

To win, you will need to complete two steps. First, in the comments below, post one thing about a classic movie, comic, book, etc. that you would go back and change if you were given the chance. Once that is complete, send your name and email address with the header “Back to Back to the Future” to sithbotbsr@gmail.com. The contest will run until July 8, and winners will be contacted with the information that will allow them to download their digital comics.

Best of luck to everyone, and we look forward to seeing your responses!
