Tom Hiddleston, Master Impressionist

Tom Hiddleston is currently making the red carpet rounds for “Only Lovers Left Alive,” the Jim Jarmusch helmed vampire flick in which Hiddleston plays the vampire lover of Tilda Swinton. And being the wonderful sport he is, he is answering fan questions and taking requests all along the way. Art film be damned, Mr. Hiddleston never misses an opportunity to be humble and hilarious. This is NSFW, by the way.

These few seconds of Samuel L. Jackson tribute have left me with an ocean of mighty needs, up to and including Hiddles in a Star Wars movie, Jackson in a Shakespeare role (not even remotely kidding there), and the two of them in a buddy cop movie, possibly a remake of “Dragnet.” Hiddleston in goat-skin chaps, anyone?

I have a very Love/Meh relationship with Jarmusch, but even though I’m sure I’ll have to travel at least 60 miles I will happily be in the theater for “Only Lovers Left Alive.” In addition to Swinton and Hiddleston, the film stars Mia Wisakowska, Anton Yelchin, John Hurt, and Jeffrey Wright. Sadly, there is no American release date on the schedule as of this post.
