‘Icarus’ is a graphic novel written by a friend of mine named Gregory Wilson and illustrated by an incredible artist named Matt Slay. It tells the story of two opposites, Icarus and Jellenik. Their lives collide and they’re forced to battle against the evil Magisters who have foisted their tyranny upon their world.
I’ve read the story this book is based on and am incredibly excited to see the graphic novel version of the project. Matt Slay has illustrated a story of mine and I have it hanging on my wall, I’m incredibly proud of it. His work with the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ and other franchises is phenomenal and I know he’s been working his heart out on this project, truly making it his own.
There are more than three weeks left on the Kickstarter, but I would recommend you jump in now. The project is already funded and there are some pretty incredible stretch goals.
And I’m personally vouching for the story, and I’ve backed the project.
