If you love all things Marvel and you also love to run then this November Disney is putting on an event you’ll want to be a part of. Disney is hosting the “Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend” on November 14-16, 2014 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
There are 3 events total, one of the hardcore runners, another for the casual runner and one for the little kids. To cap it all of there will be a “Pasta In The Park Party” to celebrate all the runners participating.
While this sounds like a lot of fun like all things at Disneyland it has a price. They are as follows:
“Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon” is $195 if you register by April 29, 2014. It goes up in price longer you wait to sign up capping at $225.
“Avengers Super Heroes 5K” is $70 if you register by August 20, 2014 and $80 if you do it on or after August 21, 2014.
“runDisney Kids Races” are $20 if you sign up before August 20, 2014 and $25 if you do it after.
Your money does get you more than just the right to run in the race. You will also get a shirt (which will vary depending on what race you are running), an igift bag, a personalized bib with your name, and a medal for bragging rights. If you want to eat and hang out at the pasta party the price tag is $89 for adults and $69 for kids unless they are under 3 because then they’re free. If you want to go into the park after the pasta dinner you can bundle the party and park together and pay $135 for adults and $115 for kids.
