The good people at Universal Orlando invited the press and some VIP’s out to their theme park to to get an early experience of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley. The new exhibit will have it’s Grand Opening July 8th of this year. The expanded park areas to Universal’s already immense resort will double the size of Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Features will include new rides, dining and shops that are all themed in the world of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Fans will get to ride the Hogwarts Express and drink fresh off the tap Butter-Beer. They’ll also get to walk the streets of Diagon Alley, but they’ll need to beware of the giant fire breathing dragon.
Stars from the cinematic version of Rowling’s beloved stories appeared as VIP’s for the unveiling. In the video below you can get a glimpse of what they experienced, and what is in store for every future visitor of Diagon Alley.
