Microsoft has been running their “Games with Gold” program for quite some time now. While receiving criticism from many that the titles received were ancient by the time they were free. While free games are good no matter how you slice it, as a competitive piece to PlayStation Plus, it seemed a bit off. This months releases feature a brand new title “The Chariot” made by indie developer Frima, comes from ID@Xbox. “The Chariot” can be played solo or co-op as the beautiful princess and her fiance’ navigate 25 levels in the kings coffin on wheels.
Chariot offers hours of exciting exploration, fast-paced ride sequences and mountains upon mountains of loot!
Xbox Live Gold subscribers are also getting treated to “Battlefield Bad Company 2” and “Darksiders II”. These “classics” give you a chance to jump back to games you may have missed. It is without a doubt worth your time to download Darksiders and Bad Company 2 was one of the best games in the Battlefield franchise.
The Chariot is available from October 1-31
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is available from October 1-15
Darksiders II is available from October 16-31.
