“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder tweeted out a movie poster featuring our first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman from the film.
The tagline “Unite The Seven” could refer to the seven seas, or perhaps all the heroes appearing in the film. We’ll know soon enough what it alludes to for sure.
The take on the character seems like a blend of the “bad-ass king” Aquaman we got in some of the 90s comics and Momoa’s own Kahl Drogo from “Game of Thrones.” It’s a predictable, testosterone fueled take from a director who gave us what might be the least heart-filled Superman movie we’ve had in “Man of Steel.”
Momoa makes his DC Cinematic debut in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” just over a year from now on March 25, 2016.
