Marvel Games has partnered with Telltale Games and are planning on bringing us a game for consoles and PC in 2017. Which was predicted on the EID podcast…just saying.
Executive Producer Mike Jones said “It takes a long time to find the right partner. We have one special game we’re excited about.”
Other than the partnership we don’t know any other details yet. We don’t even know what heroes we will see. The game is slated for 2017. In my opinion the game that makes the most sense for the “Telltale” style of gameplay would be “Civil War.” With the movie “Captain America: Civil War” coming out in May of 2016 releasing a game that centered around that plot would make sense. Having players make choices which would lead them to either Cap or Iron Man’s side would be awesome. This is exactly what “Telltale” did with the “Game of Thrones: Iron from ice” game which by the way you should start playing if you haven’t already.
