Ghostbusters the Game officially “cancelled”

I just received a phone call from GameSTOP informing me my reservation for Ghostbusters has been cancelled. Activision decided not to publish the title this year. They offered to help find the game a new home, but little else has been said.

I was then informed I could be refunded my deposit or move it to another title.

Shit.

WTF?!?!?

man, that was one of the few games that could actually get me to pick up a controller.
(not because I don’t like games - I am just REALLY bad at them)

And yet, we get games like “Carnival Games” on the Wii…hmm. This just stinks, now I wish I’d taken the time to play it in San Diego.

I’m sure someone will pick this up and publish it. Its just surprising they waited so long to announce it.

I’ve never been “upset” about a game release being cancelled… until now.
