Starting this May, Marvel will be restarting their Avengers franchise with multiple titles and new number 1 issues. First up is “Avengers” which will be written by Brian Michael Bendis (New Avengers, Siege) and drawn by John Romita Jr. (Kick-Ass, Amazing Spider-Man) Marvel has released some teasers as to who some of the members of this team will be. So far the roster consists of Spider-Woman, Hawkeye, Thor, Iron-Man, and Captain America.
Also starting this May will be “Secret Avengers” written by Ed Brubaker (Captain America) and Mike Deodato. (Dark Avengers) Marvel has put out a teaser with a silhouette of one of the members of the team. While they haven’t formally announced who this is, I believe it to be Beast.
*Update 2/9 Marvel has released the next tease for the Secret Avengers roster with the tagline “I Strive for Redemption.” Who could it be? Is there a clue in this tweet Ed Brubaker posted earlier today?
Okay, it’s not Cloak. I think I’d remember if it was Cloak… Dang, where did I put that script…?
*Update 2/10 New teaser for the next Secret Avenger! Any guesses on who it may be? “I am in control of my life” is the tagline that goes along with it.

I’m in the Beast camp as well. Especially if it means that Wonder Man is going to be a member. And the second shadowy image looks like … Scarlet Witch. Also … I’m assuming this is the team Steve Rogers is leading, which would make sense, since the Bru is writing.
By the way, has Marvel officially announced the supposed Avengers Academy title by Christos Gage and Mike McKone yet?
