When I wrote our innagural post about how great Batman could be on television, I overlooked one of the single coolest angles the series of Bat-family titles has ever taken:
Slam Bradley and Catwoman.

Batman wouldn’t even need to find his way into this book and we’d have a great detective series with Slam in the lead and Selina doing her best to clean up the East End.This comes with a caveat, though. It could easily be turned into garbage, you’d have to strike that same period, noirish tone that the comic has, otherwise you’ll get this “Birds of Prey” style.
Long story short, this would be great television.

Well… I suppose not until Darwyn Cooke got his hands on her….
And her relevance ended with Scott Morse’s run on the book. I love Scott Morse, but his Catwoman was the first nail in the coffin…
Does anybody else remember that lame ass-wooden swiss army knife villain?
That was bad….

Catwoman was relevant at one point?
