Extra!!! Extra!!! Scarlett Johansson in “The Spirit”!!!

While Scarlett Johansson is not actually in this trailer, she is going to be in the movie. She will be playing the role of Silken Floss. I think this movie might be pretty cool.

I think it will be cool, but I’m worried from the trailer and posters that Miller has bastardized Eisner’s story making it a diet version of Sin City. I’ve read some of the Spirt and the style is nothing like Miller’s. This film looks like Sin City with a guy in a red tie. Even the tagline… Frank Miller should just fucking do Sin City 2 and get that shit out of his fucking system.

I don’t think The Spirit comic resembles this at all either, it is without a doubt “Frank Miller’s The Spirit” I just hope knowing that going in will keep it from ruining it for me.
