I went back and read SiP, finishing it this time because it only ended two years ago in 2007 and is SO more the millennia than the 90's.

I put them in my forever #1 spot now. They're just too good.

Oh man, that's right, the inhibitor collar on Rogue. Hell's yeah! And that could lead to all sorts of BDSM sequences. Mmmm.

I never made it to the big reveal, I left when it was still "okay"

LOL,

I totally forgot Katchoo and Francine,
Strangers in Paradise is SO 90's.

And my inner 12 year old says I have to add Rogue and Gambit to that list even though they totally made that story arch suck cause
- 1) if they REALLY wanted to get it on all they had to do was throw an inhibitor collar on Rogue - Spresto-Whammo - Nookie!
(I mean think about it - its no more time consuming than a condom)
& 2) The reveal that Gambits big secret was that he cut off Archangel wings was just LAME.

.50. Jennifer Connelly and Eric Bana
.25. Ultimate Tony and the late Widow on the leaked sex tape (okay, you did one thing right with the Ultimates. if only there were more of it)

No no Nev, you are a better person. Good list by the by. Here's my 5 through my filters:

5. Harley and Ivy (you know they've done stuff off panel)
4. Deadpool and Siryn
3. Shadowcat and Colossus
2 1/2. Ichitaka and Iori
2 1/4. Nevada and Ogden Locke (R.I.P. Steve, Happy late Death-Birthday)
2. Katchoo and Francine
1. Jean Grey, Scott Summers and Emma Frost. Mmmm, I'd buy that for a dollar.... that's what us writers call "foreshadowing". And if you know that last reference, you know my last couple.

Because I like Valentines day happiness? Nah, I don't think so.

Plus, I totally got rejected when I attempted to ask someone out yesterday (we're still friends though), so I definitely wanted fun and nice and sweet all over these articles.

hmm,

I disagree.
Over all.

I don't think a romance has to "End well" to be a great Romance.

While comics may be rife with tragic endings to amore- those sad and failed relationships are still epic, very heart felt, and very valid romances. Not to mention great story telling.

My quick alternate 5 would be;

1) Jesse Custer and Tulip
2) Batman and Catwoman
3) Joker and Harley Quinn
4) DareDevil and Electra
5) Scott Summers and Jean Grey
