Mystery package for Indiana Jones arrives at University of Chicago
Thursday, December 13th, 2012 at 2:11 pm Category: Movies“Doctor Jones! I’m so glad you’re back! Your mail is on your desk.” Abner Ravenwood’s diary shows up addressed to Henry Jones, Jr. at the University of Chicago Admissions Office.
The University of Chicago received an unusual item in the mail: a package addressed to Indiana Jones, containing a handmade replica of Professor Ravenwood’s diary about the Ark of the Covenant, as well as some replica postcards, money and pictures of Marion. While the university admissions office is a little stumped, they have provided some great images of their parcel. I love that the University doesn’t know what to do with it. Clearly it should be in a museum.
