I will agree with disliking Batman’s voice. While I realize that he does have to disguise his voice because he’s ‘the famous Bruce Wayne’, there were times when I would almost cringe at the gruffness of it. I couldn’t understand anything he was saying and I could tell by the music and supporting actor’s reactions that what he was saying at times was important. His voice is definitely worth hearing, I wish i had that choice.

Hey fellow bots! Sorry to weigh in on this so late, but it was a hectic weekend involving Wendover and car accidents!

Anyway, to business! The Dark Knight was amazing. I am still trying to compute the awesomeness of it all! I left the theater just in shock. I honestly can’t remember the last time a movie stayed with me like that! The plot was near perfection, the acting was superb, every character got just the right amount of screen time, and they all had a PURPOSE in the movie, the Joker wasn’t there just to have the Joker in it, and Two-Face/Harvey Dent wasn’t there just to draw the crowd, it was all carefully planned and executed! I had watched Batman Begins right before I went to see this and the two movies mesh seamlessly, even with the replacement of Katie Holmes (Thank GOD!).

All in all, The Dark Knight was a Moviegasm for my sensors and I plan on seeing it again in IMAX. And Swank, I could also understand what Batman was saying the whole time too. Was the Batman voice a little hokey, sure, but like Kill said, he’s got to change it, he’s around Harvey as Bruce just as much as he’s around him as Batman.

Fucking great movie. Just, wow…

I don’t get why everyone gives Nolan and Bale shit for Batman’s voice. Of course he has to change his voice, he’s constantly bumping into people as Bruce Wayne.

Would you prefer him to fake a British accent?
