MTV is reporting that there probably isn’t going to be another Tim Story Fantastic Four movie.
Might I be the first to say hooray?
Those Tim Story FF movies were a cancer. The only things even mildly good about these movies were Chris Evans and Doug Jones. Let’s hope they reboot this franchise as quickly as they did Hulk and the Punisher. And they should get Peyton Reed to direct. He was supposed to direct the first one but backed out. Why? Probably because he knew it would suck. He directed “Down With Love” though and it’s obvious that he knows how to handle 60s cheese in all the right ways. And now that the studio has done it their way and they see how bad it sucked, maybe they can let someone who knows what they’re doing on board.
These movies seriously sucked.
Say what you will about the last Punisher movie, it was light-years ahead of these. In fact, the only film I can think of that was worse than these two FF movies is The Matrix. And that’s saying a lot.

Silver Surfer was way cooler to watch than Keanu, the butthole surfer….

I liked Evans as the Human Torch, I think he got it right on, and I didn’t think the guy who played Mr. Fantastic was bad either. But the other two blew, the script sucked, and it was a waste of my time. I’m with you, I like F4 and I would like to see a good reboot… sans Jessica Alba.

I can’t believe that you, Swank-mo-tron, would think a movie about a robot uprising destroying the human race, would be placed lower than the Fantastic Four movies.
Really? The Fantastic Four movies?
