Spider-Man 4 Female Lead Casting

We all know Maguire, Dunst and Dylan Baker are returning for Spider-Man 4. But what about the new cast member? Mania.com is reporting a casting call for Felicia Hardy (aka Black Cat). Supposedly Rachel McAdams is the front runner for the roll.

We can exclusively reveal that actress Rachel McAdams has met with the producers of the film for a major role. McAdams (of ‘Wedding Crashers’ and ‘Sherlock Holmes’ fame) is said to be a top contender for the role of Felicia Hardy, known to comic fans as The Black Cat.

Some of us BSR bots have talked about our theories for Spider-Man 4, even as recently as the BSR Podcast. I’m not sure if Rachel McAdams is as flirty and “sexually charged” as Black Cat in the comics. I could be wrong, Raimi is usually pretty great on casting his actors.
